| What is Letterboxing? Letterboxing
is a rapidly-growing hobby that combines hiking in the beautiful outdoors
with the excitement of a treasure hunt, and an opportunity for artistic
expression as well. There are many variations. Participants hide boxes in
locations which are of interest for either their scenic beauty, their historical
significance, or just a really fun place to visit. Everyone is welcome to
hunt for the box, and everyone is welcome to hide more boxes themselves.
